Plenty of people don't know their birth time. It wasn't recorded, the certificate only lists the date, or the family story changes depending on who tells it. You can still read a lot of your chart. You just need to know which parts to trust.
What stays reliable
Planet signs for the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the outer planets usually stay the same all day. Most aspects between them hold too. Your numerology numbers don't use birth time at all.
What becomes uncertain
The Moon moves about one sign every two and a half days. If it changed signs on your birthday, it could be in either one. Check both descriptions and see which you recognize.
The rising sign changes roughly every two hours. Without a time, it's unknown. Houses depend on the rising sign, so they're unknown too. Any reading that names your rising sign or puts planets in houses without a time is guessing.
A midday chart
Many tools default to noon when there's no time. That gives a chart, but the rising sign and houses in it are placeholders. Treat them that way.
Finding your time
A long-form birth certificate often lists the time when the short form doesn't. Hospital records, baby books and baptism records sometimes have it. A parent's memory of a meal, a shift change or the time of day can narrow it to a window.
Rectification is a method astrologers use to estimate a time from major life events. It can be useful, but it's still an estimate.
How Soul Confluence handles it
The free Reference Point natal chart asks for your birth time. If you enter an estimate, read the rising sign and houses as uncertain. The Gem Assessment works best with a known time, and the FAQ covers what happens when you don't have one. The sample dossier shows a full chart reading with a known time for comparison.
